July 21, 2007 - Extreme storms and flooding in Texas. These photos were taken by Marc in
Amy's home town of D'hanis, Texas. He was parked at Amy's parents house which was on high
ground, but all around the town was flooded.

This laundrymat is owned by Amy's parents. It was flooded, but fortunately Marc and Ray (Amy's dad)
were able to get in after the water went down and they cleaned everything and got it back operational
pretty quickly. They were lucky. Amy and the entire family were at a family reunion during this time and
since all roads were flooded, they couldn't get back for a few days. Ray had a friend with a helicopter
who gave him a lift in over the floods. Doesn't everyone have a friend who can give them a lift on a
helicopter?
